After three albums and two EPs, Kissing Lucifer will release, for the very first time, a new EP in vinyl format. Vocalist Dave Fabian and guitarist Oliver Amberg have teamed up with English drummer Jamie Parks to regale their fans once more with The Last Ride, featuring four brand new songs and one big question: Will this be the final release from Kissing Lucifer?
Not your Average Joe hard rock band, Kissing Lucifer blends catchy riffs and hooks with strange and colorful sounds, having never shied away from a musical genre and relishing the kind of auditory alchemy that creates.
The Last Ride starts with “Drop The Needle,” a stoner love ode to the glory of vinyl, before rolling into “Dull & Deaf,” a dark portrait of society, painted with raspy, but powerful vocals and blistering guitar. “Grit” is straight-forward, infectious rock ‘n’ roll, while the Alice Cooper-esque “Tell Me You’re Dead” adds some QOTSA qualities to the mix without compromising the integrity of the band’s identity.
Kissing Lucifer will release The Last Ride EP on the 22nd of July 2022. Due to the vinyl shortage and long delivery times, the exact date will be announced as soon as possible.
